In May 2023, our team was called to a farm in Retford to carry out the complete demolition of a large asbestos cement roofed outbuilding. The structure had become unsafe and was no longer needed, so the customer wanted it removed in full to improve site safety and free up space for future agricultural use.

Our solution

- Removed the asbestos cement roof in controlled sections, double-wrapping and sealing all waste.
- Transported the asbestos directly to our own licensed asbestos disposal site, providing the farmer with full disposal paperwork.
- Demolished the block-built outbuilding using mechanical equipment once the asbestos was removed.
- Cleared the site fully, leaving it safe and ready for reuse.
Challenges we worked around
